Pre-production forms

Location Scouting

The location scouting sheet is the first form to fill out and this is to look at and evaluate the location to make sure that it is suitable for what will be filmed there. In this case it is my house and so it was relatively easy to list parking areas and so on.

Location Release

The location release is the next form to be filled out and signed, the purpose is to get permission to film in this location and can be used as proof that permission was given if any issues arise.

Contributor Release

The contributors form is to get official permission from anyone who may be contributing to the filming process whether it be actors or people helping out with lighting etc. It also outlines things that the contributors need to be aware of such as the fact that parts are likely to be cut in the editing process and that the final product will be up online.

Resource List

The resource list is more so for organisation purposes, it is to list all of the equipment that will be used in the production process. So I listed that I will be using a camera and SD card and so on, I also listen where I will be getting this equipment from so, the SD card is already in my possession and I will be borrowing a camera from college on the day of filming.

Personnel List

Personnel list is a list of the contributors involved in the project and what their job is so for example the director and actors.

Risk Assessments

The risk assessments were done at the same time as the location scouting, the purpose is to outline any possible risks of filming in this location and to list the plans and precautions in place for anything does go wrong.

Script

The script is and outline of the questions that will be asked in the interviews that are filmed, it's not a very detailed script since the more natural it seems the more entertaining it will be.
